Excellent rebus !!!

Short, sweet, and I like the *visual* aspect of it. I gave it the max for fun !!!

Mar 14, 2005

I also want to add that I like it because it uses some tense (past, in this case) other than the present tense. And by *visual* I mean the way it appears on the screen. Good one !!!

Very nicely done!

May 29, 2005

"he" came out of the word "nowhere" and was left with "no wre". That is why he is at the top. This would seem like an immpossible puzzle, but it sure was fun... there could have been a clue at the top like "What is this phrase," because not everyone reads its classification... very very good though.

I, too, had to read Red Baron's explanation before I got it. Without that I never would have understood it. With it, I have to agree that it is a great rebus. Thanks for posting.

Jul 25, 2011

Argh - another one that didn't make sense due to unformatted emails - instead of appearing as it does on the site:

he
now re

Mine appeared laterally:

he now re

I couldn't get past "here and now" from now in here or now 'n here, but I new it couldn't be right, since the here would have been in the now instead to truly make sense.

Ah well - this one is still ruddy brilliant! Cheers!
gaylewolfAus*
Jul 25, 2011

Like many others, all I saw was here and now - but it didn't seem correct.
I like this one - "HE came out of now re" really is a good one!
Thanks!
Have a great day, everyone!

Jul 25, 2014

I cannot imagine why people are saying they did not understand it. The explanation is very clear and it is a good rebus period!! I got here and now like a lot of others, but the answer is great.

Jul 25, 2014

I thought it was a very clever rebus. Didn't remember that I'd seen it before - Thanks for posting!

OK everybody ,,,,,,

EVERYBODY !!!!!!

Read it .... (comments); top to bottom

THAT "badbunnee" is my Dad - the original "badbunnee" ...

And, note the one RED "down Karma" button ... (I've now got TWO) ....

WHEEEEEEEEEE ....

(I finally beat him at SOMETHING !!!)

Hey, Jake .... ease off. After all, it's YOUR "software" that's choosing the TOTD's ...

Not mine.

(tee hee) ...

but .....

don't sweat it. We got only 341 "viewers" (LOWEST in quite a while)

so nobody (much) is going to see it.

Let it ride.

bye "LADS"*

BB02

*"seeing" my Dad on the site (actually not seeing HIM ... but his trace ... he died in 200 reminded me of one of his fav "sign-offs" - especially as he garnered the "red cherries" ...

LADS = (your) "Loyal And Devoted Servant"

Cute, huh ????
BadBunnee02*us*
Jul 25, 2014

Any body here object if I start using it again? ....

The "LADS", that is.

I thought I would check in advance in case any of the lot of you want to exercise your "offensive" button, again.

Thanks for reading.

Jul 25, 2014

Great comments, folks.

I think Rebuses are the "acid test" of understanding language nuance and usage.

If one TRULY understands the nature and purpose of the Rebus, then one can more readily understand transitions to other languages.

And that's where we are "at" - a diversity world.

OK ... listen up everybody ....

REBUS STUDY TIME ...

(just kidding ... I know half of you "hate the day they were born" ...)

G'bye LADS

Jul 25, 2014

Right now (6:51 CST USA) there are 317 viewers.

Sad ... sad ... and with all this GREAT stuff to play with.

Later ...
