Where do they belong?
These brain teasers rely on your ability to recognize groups of common attributes. For each of these puzzles you'll need to figure out why the words or letters are grouped as they are. Sometimes you will be asked to pick the odd-one-out or to place a new word into the correct group.
The first 22 letters of the alphabet are divided into 4 groups:
Where would you place W, X, Y, and Z?
HintThink lower case.
W, X, and Z go in group 1. Y goes in group 3.
When written in lower case:
1: Letters stay between the middle line and the bottom line.
2: Letters go above the middle line.
3: Letters go below the bottom line.
4: Letters contain a dot above the middle line.
