This is a nice teaser! Very original!
wooohooo! my first comment! thx.
i liked this one. at first i thought it was either judge or coach, as they dont have to be a man.
Or "father" as it's not an occupation.
Also, "prince" *is* the top ranking in principalities, such as Monaco.

normally king rules, however
Yay.I got it right! That was fun, I like teasers like those.
I liked it, but I have one problem. Who's says the father is the leader of the household?
very good stormy !
i also thought judge or coach because they don't have to be male !

agree stormy
OK, I'm sorry about that. i didn't mean to offend anyone. I would correct it, but You're not allowed to correct your own teasers
nevermind, you are
"Prince" comes from "primus" meaning number one, and in some places the prince still is number one. In many jurisdictions, the highest court is run by justices who are thereby higher than judges. In baseball and hockey, the coaches are beneath the manager. Father is not necessarily a leadership position. This one is bad all around.
who s all added me sporty
YAY MY FIRST COMMENT!!!!!!!
THE TEASER WAS VERY CLEVER!

Sorry, ouchy, but I think the given answer is wrong in just about every possible way

I don't see how a Judge is head of a group of people. He is in charge of a court room, sure, but that is a location, not a group of people. Certainly not a "clan/tribe/family/etc". Maybe in the Biblical sense (the book of Judges)...
A Prince can be the ultimate ruler. It's not good enough to say "normally king rules" - normalcy depends on context here, and as mentioned there are cases where the Prince is the highest authority, just as much as there are cases where the Prince has a King and/or Queen before him.
A coach is subordinate to the team's manager(s) and/or owner(s). In a more general sense, a coach (e.g. life coach, school coach) isn't a ruler but a guide.
A father isn't necessarily the head of the family. In matriarchal societies, the mother makes the decisions.
The only one who is *definitely* the head of a group of people (i.e. the Catholic Church) is the Pope. In fact, the answer could be Pope.
I also thought possibly father, because it is the only one that doesn't have a symbol of position - a Judge's wig, a Prince's crown, a Coach's jacket in team colours, and the Papal staff and triregnum.
Another possibility is coach, the only one without a Christian significance - Judges is a book of the Bible, Satan is the Prince of Darkness, the Father is one aspect of the Holy Trinity, and the Pope is obviously Catholic

Since I have this knack for picking plausible but wrong answers, I picked coach. Only word without the letter "e", only one with an alternate meaning, as in, "first class or coach" The others can't be misconstrued, even by someone gifted in that area.
I chose Coach bcoz its not related to the Bible or God(which is what I perceived as "The Man", especially as Man is capitalized)
Judge = the ones that led the people to Canaan
Prince = Jesus is the "Prince of Peace"
Father = God the Father
Pope = self-explanatory
But this is a good riddle
