Actually, if you go:
R1D2
R1U2
L2D1
R2D1
you end up in the bottom right.
(r=right,l=left,u=up,d=down)

Yes, but it's *less* than four moves, and it's where can the knight *land*, not which squares does he pass through.
Of course, it can never land on the center square, no matter how many moves.

didnt get it
in less than 4 moves I would say the knight can get to less than 4 squares. I'll say 3.
Ah... nowhere in the puzzle does it state that it must "land" on the square, just reach it.
yeah, didn't see the *less* part of it.

Yeah, I got it right!
You need to envision ALL the possible squares he can move to in every move.

In all actuality with less than four actual moves it can only land on 4 spaces including the starting space, since a knight doesn't move onto all the squares when it moves just on to the one it is moving to. But if you count if you count the various moves it can make in less than 4 moves it can only touch 7 including the one it started on.
Exceptionally easy...you can do better!!!
fun, but easy

Well, I didn't get it either at first-- seemed obvious to me that in 3 moves, a night could only land on 3 spots!
I now see that it was intended that we could return the knight to the top left and begin another 3 moves maximum.
Fun teaser!

Fun teaser!
It helped to draw a grid and use different colors for each turn
