I think I've heard this before somewhere on this website. Maybe I just didn't rate it. Anyway, how are you supposed to get an answer like that? I thought curves on an S until reading the hint.

This is ridiculously arbitrary. There's nothing about the teaser that would suggest the answer. NOBODY will solve this because there's no context provided to even hint at the arbitrary nature of the question. The editors were asleep at the switch the day this got approved.
