| Very clever... you got me! I assumed you meant the Tasmanian Devil (thought perhaps it's sometimes called a tiger) and assumed they eat insects which may make them carnivore, but insects aren't exactly meat. Anyway, I was sure wrong!

| Actaully Tasmanian Tigers aren't extinct. 1 baby pup has been preserved in ethonal for many years and scientists plan on bringing the species back-great teasrer though!  |

| Not from Tasmania, but Victoria is close enough that I didn't even need to look at the answer to know it 
They have found a contageous disease thats rampaging through the tasmanian devils, too - 100% kill rate. 
Cloning the tiger wasn't successful last time they tried, though. |
