By nature I am extremely lazy, yet I can scale great heights when necessary.
I can be a coin, but I can also have warm blood too.
If I have children, their home resembles a bag or a pocket that is very much a part of me.
Much of my time is spent eating; yet I tend not to drink water.
What am I?
Answer
I am the Australian Koala.
The koala is a sluggish, tailless, Australian, arboreal marsupial with grey, furry ears and coat that lives in tress and feeds on eucalyptus leaves and bark. It does not drink water as such; rather, it gets its fluids from the leaves. It is a pouched mammal that feeds its young on milk. The 'koala' coin is also a 1 oz 99.95% pure platinum coin minted by the Western Australian Mint in Australia.

| woohoo! finally an australian teaser! I got to hold a koala at Lone Pine Zoo. it weighed a TON! they are cute. but their nails hurt a lot. thankfully all the animals there were hurt, taken in to rehab and then set free. There are only a few permanent residents at Lone Pine in Kenmore Brisbane, (Australia for all you non-aussies)! good teaser though!  got it straight away!

| The description and the "Cute" in the title said koala immediately!!  The bit about the coin, though, left me worried for a while. You really have pure Pt coins Down Under? I assume they're not 25-cent pieces  |
