Brain Teasers
Previous President? Or Next President?
They call me the Fathead. I attribute it to a typographical error whereby I lost the C in my nickname; it should have been "Facthead". But it stuck.
Anyway, a friend of mine asked for my help once in the spring of 2007, knowing about my head of facts. I told him what a nice day it was, and he said:
"Yeah, whatever. You recognize this guy here?" At which point my friend indicated a picture of a President of the United States. It took me a moment.
"Yeah, I know that one. What about him?"
"Well, who came before him as President? No, I meant after him. No, wait, before--"
"Actually, it doesn't matter what you meant, because the answer is the same no matter what." And I told him the answer, and it was true, and he remembered it well.
What was my answer?

Hint
Why would the answer be the same no matter what? Remember that each President can serve two terms, and note that what I'm talking about happened with only one President.Answer
Grover Cleveland. He was the 22nd and 24th President, and both succeeded and preceded President Benjamin Harrison, who was pictured in my friend's text. That was why it didn't matter which my friend meant.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

I learn something new everyday. Nice teaser!
That, and if the pic were of Bill Clinton.
You have a point, calmsavior, but I said that the answer would be the same, and not merely have the same name.
*Shrug.* I dunno, could it have been worded better? In which case, I could fix it.

Nice puzzle! Good thing I remembered I still remember the names of the presidents to the tune of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer from back in 6th grade.
I thought that you meant george bush because he came before and after clinton but those were different bush's. Nice teaser!
I thought it was Franklin D. Roosevelt because he served three terms, so he came before and after himself. Great teaser! Going on my favorites list!
Very fun! I had to google which president came twice—I knew his name started with a "c" and that he existed, though, so I counted it right.
