Brain Teasers
Deeps High
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
I was looking out of the window on the train this morning, approaching a road bridge that goes over the tracks. As we came up to the bridge, I suddenly saw 4 cars going at high speed backwards across the bridge, very close together, almost nose to tail. I was very surprised, and a second later I just glimpsed what was going on before the train went under the bridge.
What had I seen?
What had I seen?
Hint
The wheels on the cars weren't moving.Answer
The cars were on the top of a car transporter! They were tied on facing in the opposite direction to the direction the truck was moving in, and so looked like they were speeding backwards.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

I was close but that is a ricky answer, VERY GOOD JOB!!!
Cheers it did actually happen... was very confusing but I saw the answer and thought it was a perfect first submission for here!
Very nice teaser except for one thing. As is often the case here, the title gives a generous hint before the question is even read. Otherwise very good - thanks.
Good teaser - I got it fairly easily, but I completely missed the title. Before I read tpg's comment, I was about to correct your "spelling error!" Nice job
tpg76 - "high speed backwards" is a phrase that is inside the main body text too, so is a normal clue not a hint!
clever title...
i thought it was supposed to be deeps high but then i read the teaser

Haha! I had no clue, none at all.
I once saw a car going 60mph along the motorway with only three wheels!
