Lateral Thinking 5
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation

Hint
She wants somebody to get it.Answer
The parcel contained her husband's sandwiches, which he had forgotten to take to work. He worked in the lost property office of the bus company.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

This teaser needs hints!
what is a parcel?!?!?!?!
the parcel could have contained a bomb, and she might have been a terrorist
This was far too hard - it could have been anything in the parcel. It could have been old clothes she didn't want but couldn't be bothered to take to a charity shop -or a dead rabbit or a new toy because it was christmas eve and she wanted fate to give it to the most needy child .. .the list is endless. Not enough information was given to make a proper assumption.
Got to agree with castillon et al. - way too little info, way too many other possibilities.
First, unless she labeled the parcel, as custodian of the Lost and Found department, her husband is obliged to put it on a shelf and wait for the rightful owner to claim it!
Next, found parcels are not removed from the bus until the driver's shift ends and he returns his unit to the garage - probably after it has spoiled and her husband's shift has ended too.
Finally, in these terrorism- conscious days, the odd parcel will cause panic and probably wind up being blown up by the bomb squad.
All in all, not a great plan!

achilles,
I guessed a bomb and she was a terrorist two... LOL!

Odd to say the least.
1) low odds of making it to her husband before someone else took it
2) probably spoiled by then anyway
3) the terrorist angle
4) why not just give it to the driver to give to her husband?

this teaser contains many possibilities. at first, i thought she left the parcel "behind" her, so right in back of her. my 2nd theory was that she was undercover or something and needed to pass it to someone in the bus. but hey, if it was a crispy chicken sandwich, i would have eaten it!
and oh, the answer that you have given for this teaser is incorrect because public buses go around for a whole day. her husband would be already home before the bus went to the lost and found company.
wow ppl.. it's a situation puzzle.. you're not supposed to know a lot of info.. also, i know there are a lot of possibilities for this one.. but i was looking for just one
VERY GOOD
while you may have looked just for one answer, the long list of possibility prevents anyone feeling any sense of success...
I just don't know about your countries but our buses here don't have people for that Lost and Found scheme thing. Another thing is that the puzzle seems to be too abstract. Yes, it's a situational puzzle but I think the situation given was a bit random and arbitrary to think of an exact scenario. If that lady did that thing in our place, it's either that she forgot about it, or it's a (excuse me) fetus inside, or it's a disguised bomb (Oh spare Mindanao!).
PS: And I felt that it came out from a riddle book. But I just don't know.
It's a chancey method and as people say, a possible bomb threat. That means he receives them after his break, if at all
He could be reprimanded for leaving his sandwhiches at home.

Like alot of others said..I thought it was a bomb to
there's only one answer...
This teaser works far more complicate than recent,I think.
Cleaver for all of you who are Civil Servants.
That terrorist! If it was a bomb the bus driver could have been BLOWN UP!!
Surreal!!
