Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
Sven looked right, then left, then back to the right. After he did this, he was scolded. Why?
Answer
Sven was a driver's ed student and was coming up to an intersection. When you drive, you are supposed to look left, right, then left so you see cars in the lane you'll cross first. It is a common mistake made by young and/or inexperienced drivers.

| moot point - whichever country you are in you can look just two ways first to the direction of vehicle farthest to the kerb you are on - but less chance of passing your test |
