Walking in the Rain
Trick brain teasers appear difficult at first, but they have a trick that makes them really easy.
Four people got out of a car and went into a hotel that was across the parking lot. It was pouring rain and none of them had anything to protect themselves from the rain with, yet only three of them were soaked by the rain. Can you explain this?
Answer
One of the people was a pregnant woman. Her unborn baby was not touched by the rain.

| I'm OK with the baby as a person - but I don't think you'd say the baby "got out of" the car. Maybe that's being picky ... I enjoyed the teaser; thanks!  |

| An unborn baby is not a person, it's a fetus, so this is not correct. But still clever.

| To SneakAttack... in the US, an unborn fetus is considered a human being and you can be found guilty of killing a human being if you do harm to a pregnant person and her fetus dies. However, I am not sure the fetus actually got itself out of the car... but that is a mute point. : ) |

| Wait a minute ... the teaser stated that none of the people were protected from the rain. Clearly this is not the case. The baby was protected from the rain in the tummy of the mom. I give this teaser a FAIL for contradiction. |
