Hint
Mr. Fibonacci was very interested in numbers and sequences.Answer
The Fibonacci sequence is a number sequence that goes: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21, etc, and the way it works is that to make the next number, you add the current number with the previous one. (e.g. 5 + 8 to make 13)Using the Fibonacci sequence for the words, you get:
Carts Have bAskets stIrring staiRs
(1,1,2,3,5)
Detective jdwhite looked thoroughly at Mr. Fibonacci's favorite chair, and lo and behold, there was a secret pouch in the chair containing all his money.

Ah, Detective jdwhite returns with a second teaser! I liked this one more than the first. But, I'm a math geek so I knew about Fibonacci. This could have been a math teaser, but it actually had no calculations. It could have been a trivia teaser, but it was not just trivia. This was an interesting mix of math/trivia/codebreaking. Very nice. I rated it as easy, but this could be near impossible for a wide swath of teaser solvers.
Keep 'em coming jdwhite! I see you've caught the authoring bug!

I don't have many ideas for teasers, but it is satisfying to see ppl comment on them! Thanks!
Thanks for submitting this teaser, jdwhite. I enjoyed it. It is quite clever. I was familiar with Fibonacci, so I didn't have a very difficult time with it, but it was fun. I suppose it could go in the "Other" category, but "Mystery" works as well. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
not a math person but still great teaser
Thanks!
