John
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A steady stream of people enter John's place of business and remove its treasured belongings. The people do not pay for what they take. John allows them to take as much as they can carry as long as they keep their mouths shut. What are the people taking and which type of business employs John?
Answer
The people are taking books and John works for a library.

Good idea but too many misleading statements. Where I come from, libraries are not businesses, they are public utilities. Also, there is a 5 book limit on most public libraries so you can't take as much as you want. These kind of clues make it impossible to solve really.

I was thinking a bank. Keep your mouth shut about your bank number so no one else can take it.

I agree with jimbo; libraries aren't businesses. Good teaser though!

I got it! Great job! By the way Jimbo, John could've been working at the Orange County Library in Florida, where they let you take as many books as you want/need.
