I'm actually kind of confused on how Karma works. I've been using this website for years, and regret not creating an account sooner. However, I feel like I'm on here almost every day and I don't always fully understand how things work.
What exactly do I need to do to earn good karma? How long will it take?

Good karma is earned by doing positive things on the website, like submitting quizzes and brain teasers, posting comments in the forums, playing social games, and generally being helpful. The exact algorithm is not known.
I can tell you that it took me about a month to earn my first good karma. I played a lot of games and rated a lot of teasers and quizzes during that time. It took five months for me to earn 3 good karma.
If you keep doing the things you enjoy on Braingle, I'm sure you'll get good karma soon.
