| In my opinion, the mark of a good trick teaser is when you want to smack yourself for not knowing the answer when you see it and it seems so OBVIOUS, but you're totally stumped when you're thinking about it before hand...this fits that criteria. :P Good one |

But i agree with the folks that point out that the money had been pulled out of the wallet.
If it said 'all the money in your hand...' then it would work better.
Plus the word 'genuine' is kinda' not the right word, because he could have sang any song and replaced the name or other lyrics with the girls name, or made up a song with her name in it. As long as there is any kind of melodic vocal, it is a genuine song. 'Popular' would have been a better word than 'genuine'.
And i can't imagine ANYONE would have taken a bet like this for so much money, maybe a couple of bucks, but not all the money they had, UNLESS...the rich man was REALLY drunk....then i guess none of these points would matter.
But if the poor guy is going to take advantage of a fellow in this drunken state, he could have just robbed him in the parking lot without having to sing a note.

| Excellent. When I was at U.T. Austin, there was a Prof. Hill in the linguistics dept. whose claim to fame among grad students was that his 2 maiden aunts wrote "Happy Birthday" and he inherited the copyright! Made him rich, but he chose an academic career nonetheless. |
