What waste does the red blood cell remove? I appreciate the CO2 exchange, but what about the waste? I presume waste would be like our garbage system, like we chomp on what we need, then throw about 99% weight of the product just bought in the bin because it was only packaging. Even the food we digest gets digested by other organs. Do red blood cells remove this waste, transporting them to other organs? Or is this in our plasma?
I think it is just waste gases, and they are transported to the lungs. I found this on another site:
As the blood passes through the body's tissue, the hemoglobin releases the oxygen to the cells. The empty hemoglobin molecules then bond with the tissue's carbon dioxide or other waste gases, transporting it away.

Great Quiz I knew the answers pretty easy I took a phlebotomy class!!! Study the blood know the blood even though I did answeer the last two stupidly maybe its from the lack of sleep!!!
