I'm proud of my 9/10; I love American history! I missed who succeeded Garfield; I know of people who can name all the presidents in order, but I'm not one of them!! Thanks for this BQE!
It helped that I saw the JFK episode of twilight zone yesterday
Good Quiz
dang...missed one...by being stupid.
put Garfield after Chester Alan Arthur
Garfield...duh...can't talk on the phone and do this ! ![]()
It was a great I know somebody really did their research on this one To all the critics as I've said before if you think you can do better submit one of your own It's not as easy as it looks!!!!

I spelled Arthur wrong....... otherwise I would have had 8/10. Very Nice quiz. ![]()
I agree with using #8 as a question. Every thing points to Oswald being at least 1 of the shooters. My problem is with the response of TechA. It's not about taking sides. quit being so defensive and lashing out. Sounds like you have a control issue.
Yes, #8, as a question, is completely valid. I'm glad many of you did your research (or already knew it
) TechA made a very good quiz.
Good quiz, I only got 8/10, Forgot Chester Arthur and missed 1 other one. For some reason I thought Oswald was closer to 30 years old. Still I didn't do too badly. ![]()
pyromaniacsIII - Nice comment!!! That is true what u say. The history books says oswald so leave it at that. thats the problem with conspiracy theories...they are THEORIES!
just coz they SAY that the moon landings were fake does NOT make them fake! - same theory!
Nice quiz (oh and techa - u are a tricky bugger with the Dallas question - I didn't read it properly!!! and missed that point - well done Sir, haha)
booth may never have been brought to trial but he was a famous actor of the day and frequented the theater where Lincoln was shot. Also, a ham to the end he could not help but exclaim 'sic semper tyrannis" after leaping to the stage and breaking his leg - as with the Kennedy assasination - he was definitely involved but the question remains who ordered "the hit"?
various ballistic tests prove the "magic bullet" theory is inaccurate - Oliver Stone proliferated a multitude of inacuracies but don't always believe what the government tells you -read "Lies My Teacher Told Me"
#8 is controversial and could have been worded better to avoid the controversey, such as "Lee Harvey Oswald is believed to have assassinated JFK" or something similar... this would have removed the ambiguity and preserved the spirit of the question. However, notwithstanding that question, this was an excellent quiz. 9/10... I missed the Andrew Johnson question >.< Nicely done, TechA.
people that live in glass house shouldn't throw stones!
some people should look at the inaccuracies in their own quizzes before criticising others!
keep the questions just as they are Techa

Great quiz!
I actually got an a+.
But misspelled wilkes booth name.
And no period after James A Arthur.
I liked this one. And I agree with TechA on #8. It is generally believed he shot Kennedy and the wording made me pause and reread just to make sure
It helps that tyhe other day I was just listening to the soundtrack of the play Assassins. Which is about the assassinations and attempted assassanations of the presidents.
good quiz. we just spent a week talking about the lincoln assassanation in history. i find it kinda interesting that no one really knows who shot booth. some general is believed to have shot him, but according to some historians, the trajectory of the bullet really couldn't have been shot by anyone besides booth himself...
anyway, nice quiz!!! ![]()
I am very disappointed with a spelling error in Arthur, Author, and Wilkes One hundred without the two simple errors.
