Why isn't "Washingon" accepted for #7 ??????? To ask which monument, then require "monument" in the answer is redundant. Other than that, i thought it was a good quiz.
Only 6, but not bad for non-American [I thought #8 was too obvious and chose 'divorce'.]
7/10. Not too shabby. Missed #7 because I misspelled Monument!
That sucks. Still, good quiz.
It was a very informative, and well written quiz. I believe it is the responsibility of every citizen to have knowledge of these correct answers, so they have a history and understanding of how and why we are where we are, a world leader of the world,an inspiration, and the envy as a nation of the world. To understand where you are headed, you have to see where you are, and for that, you have to know how you reached that point, and that is through the knowledge of history. Kudos to the author!!

#4 is wrong. If a foreign visitor gives birth to a child in Pureto Rico, it is not a U.S. citizen. Otherwise I would of had 10/10.
Not every state has a supreme court. Maryland's highest appellate court , for example, is called the Court of Appeals.
7/10, not bad for some one who doesn't even live there. Thanks for the quiz, nice to have something different for a change. ![]()
8/10 inkmiser> The way the word is spelled-"lower case" can be construed as being the highest court of the state. If the word had been spelled thusly-"Supreme Court" (upper case) then your answer would be correct.
