11/12 many friends from across the pond, funny how many of these words have stuck with me.
12/12. Glad I still remembered this from living in UK 25 years ago...some things don't change much.
I like the quizes, because I can use them to teach people how to open and move between 2 or more screens on their computer. They look at the questions; then open a screen to get the answer (even if they know it); then back again. I never let them sign in so they can not cheat on the test. Thanks be being my teaching tool.
I guess it is a small world....all of these were familiar, between books, movies and a short visit across the pond, this was easy
After 22+ years with a Yorkshireman I never heard him use the term "flyover".
Oh well, I still got 11/12. ![]()
11/12, I guess it's due to the fact that my son had 3 tours of duty in England, and I love English mysteries. Great quiz, I really enjoyed it.

Got 9/10, but was thinking of corn or tortilla chips (which I eat) rather than potato chips (which I usually pass up).
Got a B. I guess I'm not moving to Great Britain anytime soon. I do better on Bible or history quizzes. Sometimes. ![]()
Good quiz!
I only missed the "aeroplane" one. Why isn't it a "drive over"?
I got all the others even though I had to guess on some of them. ![]()
Great quiz. I liked it b/c it hit my three qualifiers, interesting topic, medium degree of difficulty and good explanations! Well done! ![]()
