I'm a bit annoyed at the wolves. ICU has been eaten pretty early on in all the games I've played with her recently; there was no reason from within this game to eat her so early on again. It's a little unfair. I hope whoever voted for her was simply unaware of this.
Sorry to hear about your loss, Marc. My thoughts are with you.

Please accept my sympathy as well, Marc. So sorry for your loss.
So Pedro was human, not a surprise, and ICUB42 was once again eaten first round. Could be it's the Indians (wolves) attempt at making ppjones look suspicious since she did point out that he was also inactive. I'll be back later to vote.

I agree, no reason to take ICU out in the first round. She said or did nothing suspicious. If I were a wolf, IDK who I would have voted for, but with her recent track record of getting eaten so early, I would have purposely chosen others to vote for. There's many to choose from, and the wolves had their pick. Why ICU - maybe there will be an explanation at the end of the game.
Will vote late, after more have posted.

Hey guys. ICU has been eaten very early in all the games I've been in with her so far. From what I've heard from other players, she is very good, and would have been a great help in finding the wolves. Sad to once again see her go. Check back later and decide who to vote

Well I'm sad to see ICU gone after the 1st round again.
As always in these games the first few rounds usually don't reveal a lot so there is not much to go on. However, I will cast a vote to hopefully spark some discussion and maybe raise some hairs. Please do not jump on this vote as I am most likely going to change it unless there is a good reason to keep it as is.

Marc, I hope that you and yours are feeling better.
It is a shame to have lost a good player the 1st night. At least our seer is still alive! Cinnamon has voted already. My 1st impression, was - How suspicious! But her explanation seems valid. And besides, we usually hold our votes until closer to the end of the round. But to heck with tradition, I'm all in favor of anything that hides our seer!
Edit: Night appeared to have timed out and froggy has not logged on for 2 days. Ppjones on the other hand, did indeed log on yesterday, within the night time voting period. I'm still not awake yet, I'll decide which of these 2 (or someone else) gets my vote this round.

I went to bed late, like after 10 a.m. and I thought there were several hours left in the night round. Can anyone confirm this? If so, night did not time out - and the Wolves are active. Please someone confirm whether I'm correct or not.
**If I'm correct, a wolf waited until Mr. Jones logged on, then voted to make it look like he's a wolf. Could be wrong, but he's a good player, and maybe a wolf set him up. Just a thought. . .
And if I'm correct, and the night round did not time out - this makes froggy cleared.

The 1st posting of last round was 5:28 am. This round began 2 days later at 5:24 am. We did not reach a majority, so the day round totally timed out. The closeness of the start times of both day rounds indicated to me that the night timed out as well. Please note, my times are set to Pacific Time. While your hours may vary, the story remains the same...

All I know is that the game said it had over 20 hours left in the night round when I went to bed. I go by what the game says. I always have, so, am I wrong in following this?
**No, I take that back, the game said it had over 20 hours left in late afternoon and I figured if the Wolves let the round run out, then Round 2 (day) would start mid afternoon today.

It sucks to see great players gone early on. So we continue on our Indian hunt. As cabaret said night possibly timed out and their are only 1-2 inactives in this game. Just a voting idea but I dont have anything better.
Sorry to see ICUB eaten so early in the game. Not surprised, she is a good player. I just reread Smithy's post and I just got this gut feeling that he sounds like a wolf trying so hard to sound human. Sorry if I'm wrong, but that is where my vote is going. Subject to change as always.

Night did not time out! Froggy is cleared, and Mr. Jones "may be" cleared. I doubt it though.
I've modded enough games to know that I can follow what the game says. If it says there's 20 hours left in the round, then there's 20 hours left in the round. I know this!

Marc, I'm also sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
It's too bad that our wolves decided to take ICU out of the game again in the first round. ICU is a very valuable player and does have a knack for finding the wolves. She will be missed! I know how it feels to be taken out of a game so early as it used to happen to me all the time. Now I'm lucky to make it to the 3rd round.
Obviously we have some very active wolves since night ended so quickly! I logged on thinking that it would still be night, and found it was already over. Guess this means I'll be wolf food tonight! Gee wolves, why don't you let some of us play more of the game than taking us out so early over and over again!
As for my vote, I'm not ready to make one yet but will be back later to see if anything points to someone and the thoughts posted by others.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

It's possible that our wolves have not been playing in a lot of games with ICU recently. If they had known that ICU had been getting eaten in the first rounds, then maybe they would have given her a little time in this game. Maybe we should be cross-checking this games participants with other games that ICU has been in.

I can see why you'd think that, it's a reasonable point to make. But I just have a thing about wolves playing the players rather than the game - for example, froggy and GA getting eaten early quite often when I play with them because they both happen to be good players. It kind of defeats the fun of the game if you just immediately take out all the best players rather than trying some clever deception or interesting frame attack. (And I'm also not accusing the wolves of doing this in this game, I'm just saying that's why I wrote the post earlier. ) Wolverine raises an interesting point above.
If we can't be sure about Mr Jones, I'd assume he's not clear, especially as he's being suspiciously quiet - and not just because of the small text.

Caberet, you ignored my reasoning as to why the night round did not time out, even though I gave good reasons as to why it didn't. You even argued that it couldn't have. You were quick to point out Mr. Jones and Froggy as possible Wolves because of your logic. These facts make me very suspicious of you. Could be wrong, you could have gotten your am and pm's mixed up, but you've played too many games and are too good to make a silly mistake. And now it "looks" like froggers is cleared, and if so, now she's got a bullseye on her back, so no, it's not all that great news to know a great player has been cleared, so early in the game.
Smithy, you came to Caberet's rescue last round when a majority formed against her. Because of my suspicion of her, I'm now suspicious of you. Could be nothing, but I'm watching your posts and how you vote!
Froggy - you agreed that the night round ended so quickly. This statement makes you sound very human. Again, if you are, you'll be wolf meat tonight, more than likely - unless the wolves want to play with us, leaving you in . . . to make us question our theory that night did NOT time out.
I asked . . . am I right about the night not timing out. I said I wasn't sure. I'm looking for someone to back me up with more proof than what froggy gave. Simply going by what she's saying . . . . makes her sound very human. But what if I'm wrong, and she is a wolf. Then I was off base with thinking the night did not time out. As of "now", I have to believe she is human.
Superleaf was happy to go along with Caberet on the night timing out thing. Not sure if I want to suspect him just yet.
Much to consider. Will vote later.

Caberet... You were quick to point out Mr. Jones and Froggy as possible Wolves because of your logic.
This is only the 2nd round. We have very little to go on. But it doesn't mean we don't keep trying. you could have gotten your am and pm's mixed up, but...
I mixed up the am and pm. The times synced up so nicely, I overlooked a single (if important) letter. It happens. While it is better to have cleared players in later rounds, we work with what we have to work with... The way I see it, the wolves' #1 priority is to get the seer. Seems to me that cleared players are of more importance to them as the game progresses.Still waiting for more postings to determine my vote for this round. My favorite suspects for wolves are:

You stated that you were considering voting for either froggy or Jones, going on your time theory. This says you highly suspected them to be wolves. Yea . . I agree, it's only round 2 and you're gunning for two very seasoned players.
I cannot see how you got your am's and pm's mixed up, when the game tells everyone how many hours are left in each round. This is what players are to go by.
Yea, it's nice to know froggy more than likely is not a wolf, but now the wolves have no reason to keep her in the game. She cannot be used as a decoy. She can't be made to look like a wolf, if she's cleared. We gain the knowledge that she's human . . . . but that may cause her death during the night. And if that happens, she helps the humans 0%.
Only stating my suspicions right now. I'm not certain anyone is a wolf. Way too early. But I am watching a few.

Just to satisfy everyone's doubt, night DID NOT time out. Just looking at the time when the day round ended in round 1 and when round 2 day started it is approximately 12 hours and 2 minutes. There is no way for night to have timed out.
As Mr Jones stated himself, he is not cleared as he did log on yesterday, so he could be a wolf.

ppjones has made another appearance but it was the briefest of posts, without particularly saying much, so I will send a vote his way. Not a strong suspicion, though, so subject to change.
Smithy, you came to Caberet's rescue last round when a majority formed against her. Because of my suspicion of her, I'm now suspicious of you. Could be nothing, but I'm watching your posts and how you vote!

I'll take your word for voting for an inactive . . . . but you did save caberet that round. But then, tahomac also changed his vote from her. . . I think.
ICU voted for Caberet . . and initially put her in a tied majority with chanhill, "I think". Peeps changed their votes after that, so I'm not sure. But ICU did put Caberet in a tied majority, or at least a 2 vote majority . . . and I"m wondering if this is why the wolves ate her. Just wondering. As for caberet; I don't think it's that suspicious mixing up am and pm, as it's a silly mistake (no offence, caberet!) regardless of whether you're human or a wolf - if anything, wolves would check what they say more than humans. However, her posts have struck me as very odd; the plea near the end of last round, for instance, and the one a couple above this post.
Edit: (To reply to Snowy's edit above)
Just to clarify, when I voted last round, caberet had a majority of two votes, as did changhill I believe. I voted for pedro, also putting him in a majority of two, for the sake of voting for an inactive, as I said, but also coincidentally lowering caberet's chance of being shot. She then switched her vote to pedro too, which anyone would in her position, thus saving herself.

So Mr. Jones is quiet whether he's a wolf or human. . . I do know, if he's human, he comes to life later in the rounds. At least this is my experience with him.
Not saying you're a wolf just because you helped Caberet out last round. . . . but still wondering about it. And no, I don't blame her for switching her vote for pedro. Anyone would have. Doesn't mean she' s not a wolf though.

When I posted last night, there were 3 minutes left in the game, so night lacked 2 hours of timing out.
I can't believe ICU got eaten again in the 1st round. I know as a seer or a wolf, and even as a player she can be extremely good, but I know also that because of not being allowed to play in these games, she has told me she is through - she will not be playing in the Werewolf games again. I almost feel the same way - granted it may be just because she is my daughter and I know I again will be told I am being too involved - it is just a game.
I do not believe that people who have not been players for long will shoot ICU - it will be the ones who have played with her and know she is good. She is good for a reason - she keeps logs on players - times in, even when they do not post, she watches those she is playing with. I also keep logs as to who votes or doesn't vote, and who they vote for - who has been on line and didn't vote, etc. Maybe we have tried too hard to analyse the game, but that is just the way we play. We have watched as new players come in and from game to game try to figure out how they play as wolves or people.
I have watched how many players do in a game and they are out there to have fun. That's how we were playing the game until it got to the point, like GA and Froggy say about being eaten right away, and you don't even get the chance to play in the better games. No offense to other mods, but you have to admit, we do play, or attempt to play in games modded by the highest scoring mods, simply because they have figured out the neatest games. And yes, I am upset, kind of hurt, and almost angry.
At the same time, I know I have many friends here and if I quit playing, I will miss the fun and challenge of the game - but if one can't get past the first couple rounds, what is the use of signing up in the first place.
OK, that is my rant, take it for what it is. I have a question of Cab. How do you know that our seer is still safe. ICU could have been our seer = I know that even as a wolf, you would not know who the seer is. Are you the seer? I know that really isn't a fair question but I don't understand how you know our seer is still alive. That being said, since Cab has tried to insinuate that she is the seer, which a seer would not do, I feel she is a WOLF trying to wear the seer's clothing. I place my vote for Caberet.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

Vlerma - Stewie is telling us the roles of the dead players. As with many mods, no news is good news re. the seer. Since he didn't say that ICUB was the seer, then I gathered that our seer is still alive and well.
I do not know what would make someone state publicly who the seer is or is not. For the record, I refuse to narrow down the wolves' seer search. I can neither confirm nor deny that I am the seer.
Sorry, but I am not used to being under attack in this game. I am usually an early meal, but continued suspicions of me will probably prolong my life. So long as none of you shoot me, that is.
Vlerma - I am also sorry to hear that your daughter is dropping this game. It is a loss to everyone when good players are repeatedly frustrated in their attempts to live a few rounds.
I am placing my vote for an early suspicion of mine, as stated in my 1st posting.

It sucks that ICUB is leaving werewolf... I never really got a chance to play with her, and from what I hear she was very good. Luckily I don't get eaten early on, as I'm newish to braingle and am not all that great I hope I never get to that point...
Anyways, I think that mixing up the am and pm was just a mistake and we should not look into it. Smithy changing his vote MAY have been a way to gain a bit of an ally in the game, but I doubt it. And I don't really think that the wolves were trying to frame anyone, but rather getting a good player out of their way. It's a shame we don't have ICU to help us...
I, too am assuming the seer is alive, as in Stewie's last game, he told us when we had shot the seer (jervis).
EDIT: After looking at the voting, I see that there is a tie between caberet and ppjones. I'm hoping to shoot an inactive player, and I noticed that demonlord has been on today, and has not posted. I believe they have only posted once or twice this game. This is also true about jervis and tahomac, but they both posted more last round I believe. However, there are already two votes for ppjones, who is another mostly inactive player. I'm going to vote for ppjones for now, however, my vote is subject to change before the end of the round.

I definitely agree with this; I was a wolf the last game, and I tried to write my responses very carefully, to make sure I didn't give away anything I knew, and to try and not sound suspicious.Regarding ICU: In some games I played where Tick was the mod, he would give immunity to certain people, so they couldn't be shot or eaten in the first 2-3 rounds. By the way, people, we have a birthday boy-man?? playing with us today. We all need to wish Jervis a wonderfully HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Ok everybody - let's eat Jervis instead of cake! Nope JK JK. Hope you have a very Happy Birthday Jervis and can play in many more of our wolf games.

Ah! Soo, many words. I am just checking in, as soon as I get on my laptop I all read all post and make a proper post myself.

I just wanted to check in, I have not yet read all the posts and I have to go out. I will be backlater in the round and get caught up and place a vote. That is real bunk that icub42 got eaten again so soon. I have never seen her last longer than three rounds and I feel for her. She is a good player and I am sure I would enjoy playing later rounds with her. Well I gotta go now, I will be back later this evening and get caught up with all the posts, hopefully we can shoot with more accuracy this round.

Wow! Good points being made all over the place but the one that will end my life in this game is how many times so many have specifically said that froggy is cleared. I just wish I had logged on before the night ended and I would still be a good frame for the wolves. Everything said about those who are eaten so early in the game is true. That's one of the reasons why I stopped playing for a while. It does get a bit old when you join a game with all the people you enjoy playing with only to not last long enough to enjoy any of the game - except from the sidelines. Still, I'm pretty sure I will be gone during the night, so good luck to the Humans.
As for my vote, I'm going to vote for caberet since she was the first to emphasize that I was cleared and still said she might vote for me. Seems she wanted me out whether it be shot or eaten. I also agree with the "innocent" mistake she made about times (am vs pm). She is an experienced player and I don't think she would make a mistake like that. Her posts have also begun to sound more defensive as well. Sounds like a wolf to me... Sorry caberet if I'm wrong.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Wow I just read over enverything and I have my own suspicions. Right now some select people are trying to protect cabaret. If cabaret is a wolf these people are putting targets on their backs. In 2 rounds cabaret has been on the chopping block and been saved.

Plus it's interesting that you only view it from the cab being saved perspective - one could equally argue that people have leapt to Mr Jones' aid in this round, yet you make no mention of that.

I don't want to seem like I'm defending caberet again, but I hate to let incorrect reasoning go. Caberet actually said she was thinking about voting for froggy when she thought that night had timed out, with froggy not having logged in for 2 days - once it was conclusively decided that night hadn't timed out, she dropped the case against froggy.
Again, just to stress, I do think that cab is suspicious, just not for the reasons people are stating!
Edit: My late night struggle to put coherent sentences together has resulted in this post being redundant. Ho hum.

Actually, caberet stated that she would decide to either vote for froggy or ppjones (or someone else) when she was pushing the idea that the night round timed out. In her opinion, it timed out, due to either froggy or Mr. Jones possibly being wolves and allowing this to happen. I am the one that first stated that froggy was cleared. I had to. I couldn't have said that the night hadn't timed out, without including froggy's clearing. I wasn't happy about stating it, but it was a given. Caberet was happy to hear we had a cleared human . . . . . this, I believe, is where some thought she had stressed froggy's clearing first. She did not. She was actually trying to state the opposite, at the time. lol
Stewie, if you find Caberet suspicious, then why not vote for her? Do you find Mr. Jones quietness more suspicious, when it's been stated that he's quiet at the beginning of games, whether he's a wolf or human?
I"m not sure if Caberet is a victim of circumstance or got caught trying to frame froggy and/or Mr. Jones.
Will be back in a few to vote. Gotta think.
**edit - ok, I'm voting for Caberet, and here are the reasons.
First, the game tells us how many hours are left in each round. Going by this, it was perfectly clear that the night round in question did NOT time out. Why Caberet refused to see this when I stressed it, IDK. This made me start suspecting her.
Caberet was in a little majority trouble in Round 1. . . . she was basically helped out of that situation. Doesn't really make me suspect her more, but makes me wonder.
ICU is the second vote for Caberet in Round 1, and at the time, I believe puts her in a tied majority with Changhill. If this isn't the case, then it puts her in a majority by herself. Not sure. Either way, ICU's vote for Caberet, "could" have gotten her eaten that night. Maybe the wolves thought ICU's vote for Caberet was a little too uncomfortable, and didn't want her to do it again, next round . . . with success. Makes me mores suspicious of Caberet.
Smithy's suspicious of Caberet, but not voting for her. . . . . Hmmmmm. . . if she turns out to be a wolf, I wonder if he's one. IDK, but makes me wonder.
She, Smithy and at least one other are voting for Mr. Jones. He was the topic of discussion way back, along with froggy, when Caberet thought night had timed out. Coincidence that he's getting so many votes? There's at least 2 to 3 people that have said very little this round, and at least the same amount that haven't said one word! So why vote for Mr. Jones? Yea, he may be a wolf, but he's not really done anything suspicious, except be his usual quiet self.
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I don't like forming majorities so early in the game, but there's too many strange reasons to suspect Caberet. She may very well be a victim of circumstance. If so, I am sorry. If she does turn out to be a wolf, look at those that either didn't vote at all or voted for someone other than her. Peace out and have a great night! I need to go to bed!

I'm going to withdraw my vote for ppjones. I'm not, however, going to vote for caberet. I don't want to have fingers pointed at me later on in the game for no real reason, but just that I was on someone's side, or wasn't on someone else's side. I'm going to place my vote on jervis as a happy birthday present I just don't want fingers pointed at me later for possibly being on the wrong side of this vote.
Holy crap guys, I have NEVER seen this much posting and logic deducing and finger-pointing in the second round! Holy cow. I need to go to sleep because I have a early lab tomorrow, and since I want more time to look at caberet (although she has the clear majority this round) I will vote for the not posting jervis.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

One more reason Cabaret is suspicious, she posted herself. All players by now should know that when the night does not time out, it usually will lag for a couple hours to protect those who are on line at that specific time, that way by looking to see who is on line will not allow the players to say, well he was on line when the game changed so it had to be so and so that made the wolf vote.
cabaret's statement - sorry I didn't quote it so I copied it. I am voting for ppjones whose activity level coincided with the ending of the night round. If I were a wolf, the night would definitely have timed out, since I never intentionally clear inactive players

Wow, so many posts to sift through! Having done so I would like to like to say that I am sorry to hear that ICU is considering not playing anymore WWG's, I agree that with whoever said we should have immunity for the first three rounds or so. If you are reading this ICU I hope you will reconsider and continue to bring your skills to our games.
As for stategy I would like to say that I usually prefer to stay away from majorities in the first couple of rounds. I have played many WWG's and in the first couple of rounds it is not unusual for the wolves to jump on the bandwagon once an individual has been singled out and they then form the majority by joining in. So for this reason I will vote for someone not in the majority. This also makes me suspicious of those in that majority if the person shot turns out to be human. If you check any of my past games you will find this is a normal strategy for me that is ofton successful.
I think that some of you may be putting to much into cabs errors concerning the night timing out and her defensiveness. I have made the same mistake a few games back when ICU was so defensive and I thought for sure she was a wolf and she turned out to be the seer. I am certainly not saying she is not a wolf but these reasons do not convince me that she is one either.
I do however find it very suspicious when a player states they are suspicious of someone but does not vote for them or even say why, so smithy is on my radar and may get my vote.
Vlerma, I would also like to let you know that I would be disappointed if you were to discontinue playing the WWG. I enjoy playing with you and I think you are a good player who contibutes much to the game. You do kinda make things too personel and maybe just sometimes need to remember that this is just a game. I dont want to see you go either and I hope you decide to stay around and also convince ICU to stick around for another try.
Ok, now I am going to review the posts one more time before I vote and will return soon to place my vote which I believe will be for smithy at this point.

I have frequently stated that I am suspicious of Cab for her odd/defensive posts, and I have frequently stated that I am more suspicious of ppjones because of his continued absence, hence my vote going his way. Given that we have more than one wolf to find, I don't really see why everyone appears to be finding this so weird, and I hope me pointing out the flaws in your argument doesn't make me "overly defensive".
I don't know whether it's because I tend to ramble a lot, but in my last few games my posts have been misinterpreted or misread a frustratingly large number of times. People get tunnel vision too easily in this game, myself included: once someone has been declared "suspicious" pretty much everything they do somehow counts against them. Me voting for someone for being unusually quiet is somehow "suspicious"; if I had changed my vote to cab, no doubt that would have indicated desperation and voting for a fellow wolf to appear human. Presumably this post, and my frustration, will indicate a wolf getting overly defensive.
