Well Random.org has conspired to populate the team of 2 with 2 employees so this triggers a Rat clue! Which will appear below here in blue:
qniqwihqyqnamttryjchjvige
imhahiqiihpaxqyqnmiiwrprtrmdtryqniih
tjcrhimrqnivimyhixqtryrhiwimreiorhcjmpjgijhi
As the team of 2 were both employees, I'm off to rescramble them and I'll pm the last of the voting restrictions, all bets are off after this round.
No need to say who you cannot vote for this round, though the gagging order on your restriction last round stands.
Good luck, and happy turkey day

K9 said he voted for froggy and froggy said she voted for snow.
So snow is either an employee, or froggy was the rat and was on the firing list because 25% of votes went to the boss, snow.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
At any rate, if someone can solve the rat clue it should clear that up. I will work on it now, but this kind of thing is not my forte. (Edit: see below. Whoviandeb is the rat, so snow is cleared assuming froggy didn't forget to vote)
Also, I will put a very changeable vote on music, based on the fact that the boss is not interested in black Friday shopping now, but may be in future years. Sounds like something that would apply to someone young.

Here is the deciphered rat clue, with punctuation and stylization added by me for readability purposes:
The 23rd day of November, 1963 was a dark day, the end of an era. The very next day a new era began for someone.
Off to Google I go.
Edit: oh, duh, this is the day after Kennedy was assassinated. Don't know what to make of that. A new era for LBJ? Though he assumed the presidency on the 22nd, not the 24th.

Safety for bbgirl. Subject to change.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Am I the rat? Or am I the cheese? I prefer cheddar, but a bit of gouda would also be nice.
Sorry, got a bit distracted there. I could deny the clue, but it seems clear to me. Yes. I'm the rat. I'm definitely not the Boss. I'm most assuredly the Rat.
The very first episode of Doctor Who was called "The Unearthly Child". The title refers to Susan, the Doctor's granddaughter, who is enrolled in Coal Hill School Two of her teachers find her views a bit... unorthodox. These teachers, named Ian and Barbara, follow Susan "home" - which is in fact an old blue police box in the middle of a junkyard. But this is no ordinary box: it is the Tardis, the Doctor's ship able to travel through space and time. The Doctor refuses to let them inside, but they force their way in. (Which by the way should not be possible unless of course the Tardis itself allowed them in - she has a way of doing that sometimes. But I digress...). Anyway, the Doctor decides to take them all to the Stone Age and all sorts of adventures happen from then on.
The first Doctor was played by William Hartnell. Since his death in 1975, he has be portrayed by two other actors on the show: Richard Hurndall (who died in 1984), and David Bradley (also known for his work in the Harry Potter films and on Game of Thrones).
I'm sorry is this too long? Yeah, don't care. I am here for now.
Oh, and oddrey, your clue finding skills are vastly superior to your ability to clear players. Just saying... as the rat, I know which of this group were less than truthful about their votes. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
My sunglasses are totally sonic.
It's a disease, not a punch line

Why was my solution to the rat clue edited out? I dont see anything in the rules against sharing it, and I also mentioned it in an edit to the previous post, so the cat's out of the bag (besides the fact whovian confessed)

I can't see why anyone would be less than truthful about their vote other than by accident. It makes no strategic sense. While you have got me curious, this comment seems like an attempt to hint that snow is not cleared, which, because you are the rat, only makes me trust her more!
Safety for Snow.
The boss is not really giving us anything with these answers.

Jayo next round ask the boss a question about Boston (it has heavy irish influence after all) we will certainly be able to clear or fire Celt afterwards
I think it sounds a bit simplistic and easy to read too much into on, but i think i agree with oddrey about the young person thing. I will join his music vote for now.
It seemed to be confirmed hooves is the rat i suppose, so now knowing the rat wasn't fired, we have a snow voter fired and a frog voter fired (clearing snow...unless sadly frog forgot to vote, or misreported her vote, which would be rare but can't totally rule out) On the balance, absent compelling reasoning, snow is cleared in my book
anyway voting for music

Made it with 4 hours left...looks like we don't have much of a majority though.
Whov as rat? Not sure I saw that coming! Great to know though...definatly puts snow more in the clear...
We need a solid majority if we're going to get anywhere...voting oddrey...very vocal, but I could be wrong. Just seems like a good path...
Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil. -No Point

I was being honest. There was a vote stated last round that did not match the list I received as the rat.
And I agree with your assessment: snowy is clear. I was not trying to hint, just giving you some info.
Honestly, I've been outed. Any attempt to protect or accuse would endanger the real boss.
HAPPY 55th BIRTHDAY Doctor Who!!!!

Joining the vot for oddrey, though I don't really find any real reason for him being the majority

Whov - I didn't know the rat was given info on who voted for who. . . especially when the rat doesn't vote. I know the Boss does, but didn't realize the rat does as well..............

I don't really like the oddrey vote at all. But that's where the majority is so I'll guess I'll join it.
Snow might be clear but I can't believe she doesn't know what the rat is capable of doing in terms of the votes.

Celtic, I've not been the rat very often, and as a moderator, I don't see what others see. Plus, I'm old.

I know this is late, but:
Why was a majority put on oddrey? I only voted for her because I knew that I was busy and didn't have time to analyze anything. I had no real motivation, not even a hunch.
Also, I do have a slight interest in Black Friday shopping, at least this year. The place where I get my glasses is having a sale, and I'm in the process of acquiring new ones.
Questions for Jayo: is the Boss included in the teams you send to us? Also, do previous team voting restrictions apply in later rounds other than the one they were sent out for?

Based on the frequency of the letters I guessed that "qni" was "the" and I used that as a key in an online program ti decode the cipher. I then Google searched the date in the clue and eventually found that it was the day the first episode of Doctor Who aired. For some reason my solution was edited it out of my post, presumably by Jayo because it wasn't me. I still would like to know why!
The vote on me is strange, I would have thought I all but cleared myself by being the one to uncover the rat. Oh well.
