Ah! Not a Smile?Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.I have been old for centuries, but I can still spark passion.
Styles may change, and tastes evolve, but I'm never out of fashion. I do not speak; I do not move; I barely even smile. Yet many cross great continents to see me for a while. Both genders speak of my appeal and of my beauty tell. They stand in line for hours and hours, for moments 'neath my spell. Most folks express amazement when they find that I'm quite small. In my case, "bigger is better" is not true, after all. I'm far from home. Perhaps I pine. If so, and that's the case, You'd never tell if it was true, for it shows not on my face. My name is known, both far and wide, though it's a common truth, That some prefer the one name and think the other uncouth. I don't care what you call me. Of disputes I've had my fill. Just what is it that I think of? Debate it if you will. Can you guess just one, or both names, the new one, or the old. It really doesn't matter, for both just leave me cold. What Next?
