The Devil's Stone VesselRiddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
I am a vessel and a stone,
When I am hot my temper is known,
I have my own money as well as a bank,
If I take a bath the devil you can thank,
I have no mercy when I am cold,
If I am bad ill will shall unfold,
I can be thirsty and have shot many eyes,
In the dead of night as the curdling hound cries.
What am I?
HintI can be positive or negative.
I am thicker than water.
I used many blood words and blood sayings as clues. Blood vessel=artery, vein; bloodstone=green quartz flecked with red jasper; hot blooded=bad temper; blood money=money obtained at the cost of another's life; blood bank=place where blood is stored; blood bath=massacre; in cold blood=without mercy; bad blood=ill will; bloodthirsty=murderous, cruel; blood shot eyes=red eye often obtained by staying up late; bloodcurdling=terrifying; bloodhound=type of dog often used for tracking.
