Language brain teasers are those that involve the English language. You need to think about and manipulate words and letters.Language
A nonagram is a 9-letter word made from three 3-letter words or abbreviations.
In this teaser, each sentence gives three clues, leading to the three short words (or prefixes) that make the nonagram.
e.g.
*Clue* Worker on a curved path, with a little twitch.
*Hint* Polar (region)
*Answer* Antarctic - [Worker = ANT; Curved path = ARC; Twitch = TIC]
These nonagrams all begin with the letter "N".
1. Recently developed health resort for each
2. French rejection of professional sportsman in good health
3. Egg of louse and rodent, formed by electro-chemical decomposition
4. New prefix sparked off a little hiccup
The HINT gives
- some suggestions to help you with cryptic clues
- a further clue for each complete nonagram
