Sure I've never been first!
I got 1--5 plus 7 on my own, 6 & 8 with the hints; couldn't get 9 or 10 at all. Thanks!

You're right that this one's easier than previous teasers, which made it very enjoyable for me as opposed to just frustrating. These aren't my forte, but I had a good time with this one. Thanks.
Very enjoyable and also very easy.
I love these but didn't do very well; started out ok but used "piece" instead of "price" [on his head]. Got "recipes" but it was pretty sloppy after that.
Thanks anyway!!

and, Doehead - nice comment!
I see you're traveling incognito!

Not too difficult. Fun.
Got 'em all, but didn't find this puzzle particularly easy after RECEIPTS (kept wanting to make the next word SCARIEST, though it had the same number of letters as RECEIPTS), and certainly not after CREEPIEST. Kudos to all who thought this was an absolute piece of cake.
Nicely done! Things got messy when I got stuck on "Precis," quickly solved "Recipes", and then spent the next 10 minutes trying to figure out how one gets from "Price" to "Recipes." I just found a new word to add to my vocabulary lessons!
Creative and exciting teaser.
I didn't do too well on it, but I enjoyed it and gave it top ranks for FUN !!!
I liked, especially, the visual "symmetry" of the puzzle as it formed. VERY artsy.

Another puzzle:
What do the following acronyms stand for?
F-R-A-K-K
L-E-B
B-C-W
PM me if you know one or, else, list it here in comments.
(and it's NOT an intrusion on this fine teaser ... in fact it's quite relevant)

Interesting teaser. I didn't get them all. Better luck tomorrow.
Love this teaser. Did better this time than 3 years ago!
7/10 Got a headache on 6, 9, & 10. Gave up and peeked at the clues, still no help.
A little better than 3 yrs. ago: got 1-5, used 7 to get 6, got 8, still not 9 or 10.
Note to Lukasiwicz. As you said to me yesterday, it is a matter of taste. I do agree with you today though, as I did not find it that easy either, but then I am a lot older than you and have more difficulty on this type of teaser. Most of the time I do pretty well for a 94 year old lady. Thanks for visiting with me. I enjoy it.
Babe- 94 is only a number, it's all in how you feel. You are an amazing person.
Babe, I'd say you're doing well for a person even a third your age. When, in another 12 years -- I should live so long -- I reach the age you have already reached, I will deem myself a very lucky fellow if my cognitive skills have held up half as well as yours appear to have done.
Fun and enjoyable teaser; found the longer words more difficult and only got 6/10. Never heard of "precis".
I'm another one that got stuck on Precis - not a word I've seen before. Oh well!
7/10; Fun and enjoyable teaser. I did one better this time. I still could not get the last two words and again missed Precis which I still am not familiar with. The only time I have heard that word was the last time I tried this teaser.
Are RECEIPTS in the USA, considered to be: currency/money?
In Australia, they are proof of payment( not bankable ), so was unable to proceed beyond #7!
