Golden Treasures
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
Golden treasures I contain,
Guarded by hundreds and thousands.
Stored in a labyrinth where no man walks,
Yet men come often to seize my gold.
By smoke I am overcome and robbed,
Then left to build my treasure anew.

| I thought it would be coal. Because by golden treasure, I thought it would precious like gold. Guarded by hundreds and thousands would be the rocks that surround it. Stored in a labryinth where no man walks could be because of how deep within the place it is contained. By smoke I am overcome and robbed would be the fireworks and the TNT that they use to blow up the entrance. And then left to build my treasure anew would be after a hundred or thousands of years the coal could renew itself. |

| I thought it was computer related... golden treasures were electrons storing data, guarded by hundreds and thousands were the binary 1s and 0s of the encryption... No man walked there, duh, it's all virtual... I had no rationalization for the smoke. You got me... good one. |

| I thought the answer was slot machine -Guarded by the cameras and pit bosses in a smoke filled casino, when it pays out, it starts collecting coins again. Good teaser. Fun |

that was the first thing i thought of, also.
Then i remembered watching (from many yards away) an old farmer that was a friend of the family using smoke to drive the bees away long enough for him to pull the combs out to retrieve that sweet golden goop.
