This teaser is wrong:

The longest actual word for the left hand is: aftercataracts

Well, if you want a "common" word, then stewardesses or reverberated both work.



With the right hand, leterally, you can use hyphens. So, the longest "word" would be johnny-jump-up (a plant).

If you are picky, and don't want hyphens, then polyphony is the longest.
