Donkey's Dilemma
A donkey is tied to a stake by a 10 foot rope. 20 feet away is a carrot. Yet he easily reaches and eats the carrot, without breaking the rope or any sort of help. How?
Answer
The donkey is ten feet away from the stake holding him to begin with. Ten more feet is the carrot patch (10+10=20). They're on opposite sides of his circle of movement.Hide Answer Show Answer

I think I've read this one before on this site, maybe it was about a dog? Its still good though.
Or maybe the donkey just walks over and eats the carrot or whatever else he likes. It doesn't say the stake is in the ground.
hmm... good point. To prevent all future confusion, the stake IS in the ground. I swear.
I've heard that one before.. but I'm not sure where. I think it was on another brain teaser site i went to.
oosunshyneoo and babigurl08,
If you've seen this teaser on this sight before, then by all means, report it! I'm a fairly new user myself, so for all I know this has been used before. Not only are duplicates bad for the sight, but you get points for turning me in

Actually, the dog one ur thinking of used the pythagorean theorem, and the only similarity was that they were tied up.
Good joke.
Not a math teaser.
