Brain Teasers
Seattle to Portland
Logic-Grid
Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
Five people drove their cars from Seattle to Portland, a distance of 185 miles. To check the accuracy of their odometers, they each set their mileage indicators to zero in a parking lot at Safeco Field. They each drive a different colored car. Using the clues I'm going to offer, figure out the full names of all the drivers, the colors of the cars they drive, and the reading of their odometers as they cross the I-5 bridge into Portland three hours later.
1) Shepard is not Roberta, nor is his car green.
2) The driver of the tan car is not Lester or Danny.
3) The odometer of the white car reads 6.9 miles fewer than the black car.
4) Rudy is neither Fisher nor Delphino.
5) The car driven by Swank is tan and the mileage is 2.2 more than Delphino's black car.
6) Lester's green car has 5.8 more miles than Roberta's red one.
7) Willy's tan car has .8 more miles than Curley's.

I must be tired. Normally with the logic grid these are easy to solve, but I counldn't solve for all five, just for three.

This one was great. A little on the tougher side because of the math, but I still got it. Keep it up!

Wow! I've never made it to Portland in just 3 hours! Nice job.
Fun.. somehow I used almost the whole grid ( I did the math before I even started... lol)
Maybe the easiest one on the board. Nothing left to figure out.
Nice teaser, I like the math added in, it was a bit more challenging having to do some math to figure out the correct answers.
I'm pretty sure this one was also taken from the same logic book.
