Anagrams
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
Seven letters are we,
Four different words we make.
Guess us or be ridiculed;
Your reputation's at stake.
The first has pictures,
Paintings and such.
The second causes sneezing,
From ragweed or dust.
The third is an adverb,
It's hard to explain
It's the same as immensely
But it's much more plain.
If you can act like a king,
this word you will sing.
These clues are sparse
This riddle may be tough.
But if you are smart
Then it will be enough.
Answer
Gallery, Allergy, Largely and Regally
A gallery has pictures and paintings
Allergies make you sneeze
Largely is somewhat difficult to describe - it is certainly a synonym for immensely, but not as strong.
Regally means to act royally, or kingly.

This was a good 'un! I never would have known that those four words all had the same letters, very interesting, and the riddle and poetry were very well-done also! I thought that the first clue gave it away too easily, for me that was the easiest one. I think one of the harder ones should be first; not that anyone asked, lol!

I got 'allergy' first, then went back to tackle 'gallery', pondered the adverb... thought about kingly... wondered if 'legalry' was a word... then got 'regally', and puzzled a bit longer ('greally?') before I finally got 'largely'! Very good riddle, I had so much fun I had to join this place and say so out loud! |

| I also thought of allergy right away and from there on it was easy to rearrange the letters for the other three. But it was lots of fun--and I always feel so great after I've solved a teaser.! Thanks for a good time! |

| Couldn't get off 'museum' at first, but knew that would not create anagrams! When 'hugely' wouldn't work for adverb of immense, I went straight to 'largely', which gave me gallery, allergy, and regally in quick order. Thanks for the great fun!! |

| I didn't remember doing this teaser before. I got allergy right away and then thought of answers to 1 and 2, but could not get number 4. Now as I read the comments I see I did this a year ago and got them all! Is this what happens as we grow older?
But I enjoyed this teaser a lot both times. |

| Once I saw the answers, I was upset at myself for being so stupid. For some reason, I misread the first part and thought the answers had to be 4 letter words. I'd like to think that, had I read the first part correctly, I would have gotten it. Still, the riddle was well written! |

| I notice that all the teasers are repeats,and very few people respond w/answers. I think that the editors should put out some new material,therefore retaining people,instead of chasing them away. |

| I liked it but I can't remember what an anagram is, I always forget it. I had to read twice to see if they meant 4 letters or seven. I did get allergy which got me the answers. Good quiz |
