What`s the product?
Math brain teasers require computations to solve.
(a-x)(b-x)(c-x) ... (z-x) = ?
Answer
0
One of the terms is (x-x) which equals 0. Anything times 0 is 0.

| Wow! I was trying to find a pattern, scribbling stuff out a couple times, adding like terms.... woops!
Very cool, and I agree with paul's comment, this would be equally at home in the tricks section. |

| Very creative and good. I agree that because only x-x is the equation it would make a better trick, but I got it and liked it |

| This was a bonus question on a pre-calc test I took in high school. I got it right back then. I started to multiply it out, but then I thought "wait, what happens when you get to x-x?" Then I got it. |

| This would have been way too easy had it been in the trick category. People would be looking for the trick. In the math category people give up after the first few letters. I really liked it. |
