great stuff!!!
First time to do a teaser like this and I like it
Good one. and fun. It would also work if 4 was 'items'
but wouldnt be 2-word-leveled anymore, lol

Well I got most of it. Good one
Pretty Good!
Excellent teaser, way out of my ability range (especially in the morning).
its off the charts for me....duh...did i mention im a blonde. but seriously, more rebus....
This should have been classified anagrams.
Excellent teaser. Very hard, but not impossible.
the bottom two were hard to get. the rest was easy, but fun.
Extremely easy
I liked it! But the last few were hard for me. Thanks for a good teaser today!
I used SMITE for cuts down, then added R for merits. TRIM realy means tidy-up, but Smite is as someone would do with a sword, to cut someone down
I came up with 'spit' for 3 and 'split' for 4 and then stuck. What can I say?
my brain must have not been functing right this morning b/c i somehow read the instructions wrong. i thought the letters had to remain in the same order.
So I did not get today's teaser.
It was a good one though

Didn't get it
Thought it was somthing biblical.
Can't win em' all.
Thanks for sending it in. Others
enjoyed it.

Not my cup of tea..
Was difficult but I ended up getting it eventually. I didn't get what the hint was, though...
It was fun, and I enjoyed the mythology reference. For tonja, Ephesus is a Greek city associated with Artemis. Although I don't see how it would help if you don't know Artemis. The clue was harder than the puzzle!
I couldn't figure it out. Sorry. Just not my thing I'll try to do better next time. Thanks for the post.

I got everyone but the last = C
I was so close...
I was so close...
Good teaser, but the first and second clues are stretching it to me. To exist should be exists. Exists is a better clue because it is conjugated, where as to exist is an infinitive verb.
On the second one, sit is a way of resting, but it does not mean "to rest"

the instructions say:" the first letter is given to you (which is the first answer)" this is wrong. when they give you the letter I it does not answer number 1. IS is the answer to number 1. That threw me off.

I used SMITE as #4
Duh! Must be on another planet tonight. Didn't 'get' the directions,
so went about solving it all wrong. Loved the answer and the concept when I saw it. Would love another one like this to try.

Yay! This one was fairly easy for me... I knew the answer to #6 right away, and kind of worked my way backwards from there.
I made it down to "trims" and there I stayed! It was a fun puzzle though!
I thought just like another player that "fine mist" was "spit", then "cut down" was "split" and obviously ran amuck. If I had known Artemis, working from the bottom up would have been the way to do it, but alas!.....
too tough for me. sometimes, like this time, the instructions don't make sense to me
had a hard time with it - instrctions didn't make sense to me until i saw the answers
'Is' isn't really the same as 'to exist'. It would be the infinitive 'to be'. However having the starting letter 'i' made me realise what the answer was supposed to be. Otherwise good teaser though!
Exactly as s o s said. A better definite of "is" would be "exists," "has existence," or "equals."
