I got all 4 words right but couldn't unscramble sapphire

Brainster, I'm working your series backwards, and was thrilled to have just guessed it without any work. It makes the little words easier - like hangman! your word jumbles are great fun!

Number 2 gave me a bit of trouble as it can be anagrammed as HATES, HASTE or HEATS took a bit but finally got it but using all 3 as possible solutions.
I saw the word haste, so other possibles (heats or hates) didn't confuse me, but I think using words that do have more than one answer really spoils the puzzle. This is a comment - not a complaint! I love unscrambling words - thanks for a good one! Everyone have a great day!!
