how long ago are you referring? Bones were used as weapons, as so were trees. Accuputure, the science of relieving pain by puncturing the skin with needles. The correct preposition is In not On the skin. I enjoyed the Teaser and would have enjoyed it more had the correct terms been applied. Correct, as you guessed, I failed this teaser. I did not get one letter

Wow, this is clever! I would have never have guessed the answer. The syringe needle part was especially confusing as it's not what I'd usually associate with regular needles.

Easy teasy. I'm with the crowd: the last line made the answer clear. I went through several possible solutions as I read. I liked that the correct answer depended on familiarity with a popular idiom.
