In Greek mythology, Medusa was a monstrous female character. She was depicted as a woman with live venomous snakes instead of hair. It is said that her gaze could turn people into stone.

This was fun. I really enjoyed the added bit of information at the end. I love Greek Mythology!
Medusa is my favorite mythological character! I'll start making these so the world will know more mythic creatures! Great job!
And just another quick note: Medusa did not die by looking in a mirror, but when the hero Perseus used a reflective shield to find her in her lair and cut off her head. Great job!
Ugh...thought the first word was 'MAPLES' - no wonder I couldn't get the answer!
