OOOOOOH I get it! Nice teaser, keep em coming!!!
This is a really cool teaser! The only one I didn't get was the English ale, probably because I've never heard of it, , but it was really fun to figure out! Great job
Thank you
If I would have read the instructions more carefully, I think I would have gotten that one... Nice teaser!
Agree with blondbookworm, only one I couldn't get was the ale one as I never heard of it either. Great job once again Jazz. Thanks for posting.
I could have answered this if the directions were written more clearly! Maybe you need an example to help explain what the reader is supposed to do.
Nice one! While Burton was a guess, the other two were easy!
Easy one.
The burton part was a bit challenging, so I came up with two guesses.
Nice job!

never heard of burton and i'm from the uk
I`m a Brit and have never heard of Burton ale????
I got it, I got it! I haven't heard of Burton Ale either, but I guessed right!
Great teaser!
Great teaser!
Pretty sure its a city that makes beer, like Milwaukee?
Burton-on-Trent is mentioned in A. E. Housman's poem "Terence, This Is Stupid Stuff" from A Shropshire Lad. "Why, if 'tis dancing you would be, / There's brisker pipes than poetry. / Say, for what were hop-yards meant, / Or why was Burton built on Trent? / Oh many a peer of England brews / Livelier liquor than the Muse, / And malt does more than Milton can / To justify God's ways to man. / Ale, man, ale's the stuff to drink / For fellows whom it hurts to think...."
I couldn't get my brain around them, I only got curtain.
Lame teaser. No one here, including me, has heard of Burton.
Had potential, but no one knows about Burton I am certain so let down the curtain and try again with something we know!!!
I didn't get Burton until I read the hint, and then what else could it have been? I have never heard of Burton, but then I'm neither a beer drinker nor British, I am sure if I were either, I 'd have got it just like that. To those complaining about not having heard of something, REMEMBER: there are ppl from all over the world on this site, and something that is obvious to you as an American/Canadian/German or whatever, may be something they have never heard of.
1 & 3 were easy. I got 2 only with the clue. I also never heard of Burton beer. S & G
I consider myself to be a beer afficianado - never heard of Burton
For myself, without the hint, impossible; with the hint, easy.
kiss ur hand 5 time than post this on 9 teasers and look under your pillow for an ipad
2/3 had to look at hints before I guessed Burton. Never heard of that term for ale.
Good teaser, and like many of you, I only got 1 and 3. But I agree with HABS' comment in 2011. There are people from many countries playing this
puzzle site, so not all of us may get every one. Fun puzzle; I like jumbled words. Thanks for posting.

Yes.
When I was living in Washington, D.C. I drank Burton's Dark frequently. It was a favourite with some of my friends from the Brit Chancery.
So, wake up to the world, Brainglers !!
Also, I just noted that I've posted eight of the last thirteen Rebuses.
None have received more than 4 comments, most have only 1 or 2 and a couple have 0.
Wait, before you "knee-jerk". I know you can say... maybe they were NOT worth comments .....
Maybe, maybe not. At least the editors don't agree with you.
AND ... none of the other Rebuses OR new submittals in other categories are running wild with comments.
Mostly NONE.
Does this not bolster my argument that Braingle is dying?
We gotta help it out, folks.
AND ... if you nail THIS comment of mine as "offensive", then you are making the biggest mistake of all.
But ... if you insist ... fire away.
This time you'll probably get me banned PERMANENTLY.
And ... at least, one of us will feel good for a change.

I breezed though 1 & 2. Three had me stumped so I checked the hint and guessed correctly despite never hearing of it before.
If it is as Habs says, that there are people all over the world playing Braingle, then where is everyone? Even those in the USA have deserted this site. Also why are there no new ones? Where are all the smart people that know how to make these up? I really miss this, and there must be someway to get people back or at least some new people. What is wrong with the ones who put this site out. Why are they not working on getting people back and starting new ones also? I hope someone is listening so the few faithful can have some challenges.
Well said Babs.
Should have been Babe, not Babs. Still half asleep.
Interesting teaser. I liked Craniac's comment including the poem about Burton on Trent.
I appreciate the effort the current editors and site managers are contributing. I feel Babe's frustration with the diminished traffic and participation on the site, but I would never blame the people that actually show up and try to contribute. They should be praised and held up as examples.
I've attempted to contribute some teasers in an effort to "give back". It's really hard. I'm quite proud of a few of my teasers. Others, not so much. Attempting to write my own really gave me an appreciation for the existing teasers and new submissions. I have become far less critical and more supportive.

Very fun and entertaining teaser; took awhile but got them all. For all the critics, not everyone using this sight comments or writes stuff to submit. I used this sight for several years but never posted comments until the last couple of years. I am not much for making up stuff for use on the site and have never submitted anything.
I also got 2 of the 3 easily. I never heard of Burton Ale either. This was a fun teaser except for the unknown ale! Looking forward to more in the future Jazzman.

Sorry, here is the correct link (see above), but I had to break it up into two parts because the Comment box won't accept a string this long:

Click on brain teasers at the top then search then click on date and pick last week or last month to get new teasers.
I didn't know Burton was a strong British ale. I always thought he was a strong British actor...
