A very imaginative teaser! And fun to work, if you are in the mood. I enjoy crytos, but not this early in the morning.. Keep up the terrific work, and don't worry about my jabberings.
Good Morning and thank you Pizzazz2u for the great comment. I'm glad you enjoyed my Christmas teaser!
Fun!
It was fun to work. Good Job!
Thanks Sunni!
sorry but this was stuipid
I think "A primal surf guy" would make a cool cartoon super heroe name. Some sort of hairy neanderthal beach bum who solves crimes in the shallow water of the beach and shouts "Gnarly" at randoms points. Anyone got the phone number for "Marvel comics"?
Oh, yeah... Froggy, I will split the profits with you.

Split the profits? Hmm... but what if there are no profits to split?
you could owe me it then.
i agree with soccer girl, this was pretty lame
im sorry

Only got 2, but barely tried. Too early, no coffee yet. Who is Burgomeister Meisterburger? And I thought the reindeer's name was spelled "Donner," not "Donder."
Agree with craniac. Very poor teaser.I give it a big thumbs down!!!!
I loved it. Just wish it had been posted at a more appropriate time. I'm not in the mood for Christmas themes, would prefer to think Spring!!! Thanks for the great teaser, Froggy.
And the hint was pretty lame considering that the instructions make it clear it was Christmas.
Ummm....it's Donner not Donder. And who the heck is Burgermeister Meisterburger. That doesn't sound Christmas-y.
way fun but no way to score past fun.
yep Donner.
yep Donner.
"Twas The Night Before Christmas" by Clement C. Moore was the first place all of the reindeer were named and the reindeer's name is indeed "Donder".
Burgermeister Meisterburger is a character in the holiday special "Santa Clause is Coming to Town.

Oh, and great teaser Froggy!
I got several but was stumped on quite a few. Burgermeister M. is a character in one of the Christmas specials on t.v. at that time of year. Lots of fun, but I was hoping for an Easter theme.
I googled the twas the night before christmas poem because someone mentioned that it is Donder and not Donner(like I thought) and in fact it does say "Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen. On Comet on Cupid on Donner and Blitzen. I checked more than one result to make sure. But still a decent quiz.
Donner and blitzen is German for thunder and lightning.
Apparently it's a pretty long history...but "Donner" first popped up in the song "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" in 1949.
An interesting read about it:

Not a big fan of this one. Sorry, never seen whatever buggermeister came from. And santa's elves , didn't know there were apostrophes!
The way I learned it was "Donder". It can be either way. I liked this
very nice. thanks
Thanks everyone for taking the time to read my teaser. I originally submitted it at Christmas time, but it was teaser of the day way after Christmas!
Cute idea. Santa's elves was a little tricky because of the apostrophe and the plural. Thought they'd all be single name characters. I'd never heard of Burgermeister. Good job overall, though.
Christmas in April.
BOOOOOO!
BOOOOOO!
Christmas is wonderful ANYTIME of the year!
I never watched the Christmas special with Meisterburger...or else I just didn't remember it.
Oh, and I have heard the name Donder instead, also.
I love anything about Christmas!
Thanks!
