I had fun with these but didn't necessarily agree with your clues:
1. The grain of any cereal grass. (I would prefer A cereal grass since some cereals are oat, corn or rice.)
8. Any person or thing. I thought I was looking for a noun. ?? I don't think Whichever matches "any person or thing".
A different word might have been easier to come up with a clue for. Like maybe the word WHOLE with clue being entire.
9. More than a little but not very. (I would have preferred To the contrary or Instead of for RATHER.)
Sorry, don't mean to be a complainer. I did have fun playing around with these. I better shut up now.
