Sums in a Code
Crack this code (Letters represent numbers 0-9)
You add horizontally, (HCA+ZAA=BKZ)
And add vertically (BKZ+HRC=AKLR)
HCA+ZAA = BKZ
CCL+CAK = HRC
______________
LTM+RZR = AKLR

Letters represent numbers 0 - 9
Very difficult.
I gave up after "124 + 844 = 968" only worked for the top line.

the only thing i could crack was that M is 0. Too tedious
There are a lot more interesting puzzles of this type around. An explanation of the logic behind cracking the code would be nice, other than tedious trial and error.
How I solved it:
A=1 (first digit in 4-digit sum of sums)
Z=2 (A+A)
L=9 (1+K=2+C, K=[C+1], L+K=C)
C=3\ (C+C=H
H=6/ C+H=9)
The rest should be solvable from there.
