Brain Teasers
Frog Bank
A frog needs a loan so he goes to a bank. He hops in and hops up to the front desk. The clerk there, whose name is Paddywack, asks him, "Can I help you, sir?" The frog replies, "Yes, I'd like to take out a loan." Paddywack says, "What's your name, sir?" The frog says, "Mick Jagger." Paddywack laughs and says, "What like the Rolling Stone?" The frog responds, "Yes, as a matter of fact, he was my father." Paddywack says, "Ok, we'll give you a loan. But first, in this bank, you need to present your collateral before we give you your loan." The frog rummages in his pocket and finally comes up with a little golden strangely shaped object. He says, "All I've got is this. Will you accept it?" Paddywack studies the object for a moment and asks, "What is it?" The frog shrugs and says, "I don't know. I inherited it from my father." Paddywack takes the object and says to the frog, "Ok, I'll go take this to my boss. Maybe he'll know what it is." Paddywack leaves the room and enters another smaller office. When he comes back out, he grants the loan. What did his boss say to make him grant the loan?
Answer
Paddywack presented the gold object to his boss and his boss said, "It's a knick-knack, Paddywack. Give the frog a loan! His old man's a Rolling Stone!"Hide Answer Show Answer

Bob: No, but let's just remake a joke bacause i;m too lazy to think
Bill: Sure, it seems EVERYONE is doing it!

ok, ok, everyone, let's just give me a break here. this was my first teaser and i wasn't sure what to write about so i just decided on that. i didn't really want to spend a whole lot of time thinking about a witty little teaser because i have other things to do.
then stay out
you should spend less time moaning on about other peoples teasers then!
I apologize, mad-ade, if it seemded like I moan too much. Most of the time, I try to simply point out that other people nit-pick too much on the technicalities of some teasers. I also apologize if my last comment seemed harsh. I meant that I do not spend too much time on the Internet, and do not spend much time thinking about riddles, as it is not one of my hobbies. I was unaware that so many people had heard that joke, so in a way, I wanted to share it. I apologize for souding harsh.
If people want to see this joke they could go to http://www.froggyville.com/jokes.htm#Kermit%20Jagger
Well, everyone, there is the website if you want to see the joke itself. I have not heard of this website before, but I'm glad that Mad-Ade could spread the joy of this joke (which is one of my favorites.)
Give him a break. I thought it was funny and cute.
It's a great joke. Try telling it without stuffing it up!
I liked it. So what that it was a little elementary, how many of us can say that we have extrodanary teasers? Give piffle a break.

I've heard the first part of that teaser, but not the "Rolling Stone" part. Very cute.

I liked it! I'd never heard the joke before, and I thought the set-up was good. It was a clever play on words. Thank you!
