I was thinking Lake Michigan - the only one that doesn't border Canada.
I was thinking that all but michigan have "Rs"
I was thinking that Michigan was the only one named after the state it bordered.
I was thinking the Huron was the only one without an 'i'. But the answer makes much more sense
Only Lake Michigan doesn't span two different countries. That's a lot more important than the author's answer.
And why is this in riddles rather than trivial? In fact, you could have made an interesting trivial teaser about the great lakes:
1. Which one doesn't border Canada?
2. Which one doesn't border the state of Michigan?
3. North-most point?
4. South-most point?
etc. Find something that is unique about each one. Then people aren't left with the bad taste of finding an answer to your "riddle" that is just as good as yours.
