I can tear down mountains
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
I can tear down mountains, or build them up. I can blind a man, or enable him to see. What am I?

| Lots of glasses (the kind you put on your face) are made of glass and sand makes glass (or is at least one of the materials). |

| God can do anything, but he is an answer to many riddles. Sand has talent for that.(undersand God!) |

| Well, you know there are lots of tricks to put "god can do anything" to rest, in my opinion. I don't think god is all powerful or omnipotent, but rather has it's own limits as do we.
Example, (i'm sure a lot of you have heard it hehe) "Could god make a rock so heavy even god could not lift it?"
Dilemma!
But, apart from that, I didn't understand the sand part either till I read these comments. But afterwards, you can see it's a clever riddle!
I suppose we just assumed that it meant to enable a BLIND person to see, not just a person
Just goes to show, never assume, eh? |

| sand can enable a man to see. means, a person who is blind gets a glass eye inserted. and the glass from the eye is made of sand. clever huh |
