One of Nine
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
A hundred and one
by fifty divide,
And if a cipher
is rightly applied,
The answer is one from nine.
Answer
CLIO
Using Roman numerals, a hundred and one is CI and fifty is L. Dividing CI by L gives CLI. Add cypher (0) to the right gives the answer: Clio, being the name of one of the nine muses from Greek Mythology.

| Not "too hard", too wrong. Where in the world you get 151 (CLI) as a result for a division of 101 (CI) by 50 (L)? You divide CI by L you get II and a remainder of I, since romans don't have decimals. |
