8-22-5-22-13.....
Cryptography
In Cryptography teasers, a phrase or expressions has been encoded in some way (frequently by replacing letters with other letters). You need to figure out the encoding method and then decode the message to find the answer.Cryptography
If 8-22-5-22-13 equates to seven and 7-4-12 makes two, how would you write ten?
Hint
Spies might use it.Answer
7-22-13. It is a substitution cryptogram in which letters are substituted for numbers. For example, 7 = t, 22 = e and 13 = n.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

This teaser does not belong in the math section.
You might have added (if you knew) that the numbers are derived by counting backwards from the end of the alphabet.
I agree with canu, this belongs with letter-equations. I was stumped. I was thinking of math as in subtraction.
this was an awesome teaser a bit easy but i dont know what the others are smoking it belongs where it is, if u really think about it, which they obviously didnt
This is too easy. Since all the letters appear in the problem. The code is easy enough in itself you should ask to spell the word numbers or something that doesn't have all the letters represented already
LOL... easier than i thought
wen i was litle i used this ames coal so it was easy and the title dosent make sence"gvevm"
ops i counted the wrong way "seven" now it makes sence and i used the coald the forward way when i was litle
