The Longest Month
It is well known that there are seven months with 31 days - January, March, May, July, August, October and December.
February is always the shortest month, with only 28 days (or 29 days in a leap year).
However, it is a little known fact that one month of the year is always longer than the others.
Which month is it?

I got it, kinda easy and a little cheesy but good job.
This is my favourite submission on the site. Well done. A bit easy, but soooo good.
Yay! Got it instantly... Good job!
I'm glad this was in "trick" because I got the answer, but felt that explicitly pointing out the number of days in the various months, then using the word "long" was unduly misleading.
I actually knew it has something to do with the letters...I just wasnt sure which month, it was still pretty good though!
real easy and a lot fun

September is my birthday! Woot!
Clever. easy and kinda well known, but clever.
The problem with it is that there really is a correct answer based on time: October. It is an hour longer than all the other 31-day months, because it includes the fall transition to daylight savings time.
that should be "from" daylight savings time, back to standard time.
Zag24 - That is true, but only for countries in the Northern Hemisphere that use Daylight Saving Time.
For those that don't, and for any country in the Southern Hemisphere, whether they use Daylight Savings or not, your answer would be incorrect.
