I got very close, but wasn't sure so I peeked at the answer. It seemed so easy afterwards...
i got it right.. but with different way.. from 5, plus 3, and then plus 7, plus 9, etc.. that works too!!
Heh, it's funny when they think they've got an elaborate algorythm, and it turns out there's a simple pattern
Glad you guys liked it.
*clap clap*
Very nice! I actually used yet another way to get the denominator, but got the same result: 1+5+2=8, 2+8+3=13, 3+13+4=20, 4+20+5=29, etc...
I don't understand series.
I got it right and it was easy, but I got it using another method. The first number was easy to figure out since it was just increasing by one. The second number had a pattern of being increased by odd numbers - 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, & 13: 5+3=8, 8+5= 13, 13+7=20, 20+9=29, 40+13=53. It was fun, though. Thanks!
verrrrrrrrrrry elementary, or lower

I loved this one! Some people may think this is too easy, but I had to think about it and that's why I like it.
Nice
