If 1 kilogram is equal to 1000 grams, 1 kilometer is equal to 1000 meters and 1 kilovolt is equal to 1000 volts, then how much is 1 kilobyte in bytes?

Answer

1024, not 1000 as computer memories are counted in powers of 2.

Okay, ya got me! And I even knew the answer, but all the 1,000s suckered me right in.

Well done.

I knew the answer but I dont agree with the teaser itself. The statements before the actual question dont help you get the answer. It would be the same to write a teaser saying" How many bytes are there in a kylobyte"
