Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.

A rather nasty criminal developed a seemingly foolproof way of extracting money from bereaved families. He would scan the obituary columns in order to choose the name of a wealthy man who had recently died. Then, he sent an invoice for pornographic books addressed to the man and claimed payment for goods previously dispatched. To avoid any scandal the family would eventually pay. How was he eventually caught?

The crook sent an invoice to a blind man who had recently died. His wife knew it must be a con and called the cops.

I thought that there was a mistake in the obituary, and that the person who is listed dead, is actually alive, so when he'd get the bill, he'd call the cops.

Braille pornography? What is that? Anyways, this is the last situation teaser I've seen...I've seen all of them so far. Of course the last one is also the nastiest one, just my luck...

I still have about nine pages to go before I finish all the situations... I kinda like this one.
