Below are two lists of ancient gods. One of the gods has been placed into the wrong group. Your task is to replace him or her into the correct group.

Group A:
Aegir
Eurybia
Poseidon
Proteus

Group B:
Wodan
Galene
Shu
Nut


Answer

Galene belongs in Group A since she was the goddess nymph of calm seas.

The others in Group B were ancient gods of the sky. The ones in Group A were ancient gods of the sea.

NOTE:
Aegir - he was the god of the sea in Norse mythology.
Eurybia - she was an ancient Greek sea-goddess with power over the shifts of the sea.
Poseidon - he was the ancient Greek King of the seas, and lord of the sea-gods.
Proteus - he was an ancient Greek sea god who could change his shape at will.
Wodan - he was an ancient Germanic sky god.
Galene - she was the ancient Greek goddess nymph of calm seas.
Shu - he was the ancient Eygptian god of dry air, wind and the atmosphere.
Nut - she was the ancient Egyptian sky-goddess.
